Apollo

Apollo was brought to us from a loving home who felt he had too much energy for a household that needed a little more peace. The silence in my home needed that exact energy. For 10 years, Apollo was the best companion anyone could ever ask for. Never being an inside pet, Apollo quickly learned he was the master of his castle. Nobody would enter without being greeted by this gentle giant, and once he captivated you with his eyes, you were hooked. Never a problem, Apollo would always make sure he'd tell you when he needed to go potty, when he wanted some affection, and would show love when you'd need it even if you didn't know. Apollo loved very long walks - sand, snow, asphalt, no terrain was off limits for him to explore. One of his best friends though, was mud, and you could never be mad at how happy he was to jump into a puddle. Ever so adorable as he slept, Apollo would remind those that life was about no worries. I would always come home and when I'm stressed, this big boy would just look into your eyes with the largest grin reminding you to take it easy on yourself. He was such a big guy, but the void he leaves is even bigger. Until his very last day of life, Apollo never ceased in having energy. His big ole floppy ears would drop as soon as his head was pet, and he loved hearing how good of a boy he was. Only thing though was he wasn't a good boy, he was the very best. There will never ever be another one like him. I just know he's running around with all of his friends waiting until we are reunited. Daddy misses you so much, my puppy. Thank you for all those years of companionship and devotion.
