Chase Cusick, a beloved soul, was born on January 1, 2017, in Pasadena, Texas, and entered eternal rest in Franklin, Tennessee, on May 30, 2025. His life, though brief, was filled with love, laughter, and mischief, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of his family and friends.
From the moment he was rescued at just six months old, Chase became an embodiment of joy and companionship. Despite his early challenges, he flourished in the warmth of his family’s love. He was an emotional support to his devoted mom, Sharon, offering her comfort even on days when he himself didn’t feel quite right. His gentle spirit and affectionate nature were a source of strength and solace for her, creating bonds that transcended words.
Chase was known for his energetic and mischievous personality, earning him endearing nicknames like "Fluffy Butt" and “The Fluff.” He thrived on play, relishing games of chase and fetch, and would often engage in spirited tug-of-war battles. His zoomies were a sight to behold, as he darted around with boundless enthusiasm. A true gourmand at heart, he would do anything for a delicious “cookie,” revealing his playful side and ever-optimistic nature.
His curiosity knew no bounds, particularly when it came to barking at wild turkeys and various birds, although he held an evident disdain for buzzards. Chase was a joyful spirit, bringing warmth and laughter into every moment he shared with his family. He is fondly remembered for his sweet and loving disposition, a spirit that brought light into the lives of those who knew him.
His family includes his loving humans: Mom Sharon, Dad Dan, his brother Matthew and sister-in-law Montie, his canine brother Keegan, and his feline brother Spot who will continue to carry forth his legacy of joy and furry companionship.
Chase has now crossed the Rainbow Bridge to join his beloved friends Jack and Oreo, along with many other cherished pups and kitties who are now waiting to be reunited with their families again. Though he has left this earthly realm, the memories and joy he brought will remain evergreen in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him. Chase will forever be remembered as the sweet, loving companion who taught us all about unconditional love and the joy of simply being together.
